A mobile switch leveling, lining and tamping machine comprises a vertically and laterally adjustable leveling and lining tool carrier frame linked to the machine frame, a pair of flanged wheels supporting the carrier frame on a main track for mobility therealong, each flanged wheel engaging a respective rail and serving as a track lining tool, a respective power-operated, vertically and transversely adjustable track lifting tool mounted on the carrier frame for gripping each rail at one side thereof, a leveling and lining reference system including a main track position sensing device, the leveling and lining reference system controlling actuation of the track lifting and lining drives in response to the main track position sensed by the device, a vertically adjustable auxiliary device mounted on the machine frame for lifting a laterally adjacent track section, a power-actuated drive for laterally displacing the auxiliary device, and a measuring carriage associated with the machine and running on the laterally adjacent track section, the measuring carriage comprising a measuring beam extending transversely from the laterally adjacent track section to the machine frame for measurably monitoring the position of the laterally adjacent track section and a cross level connected to the measuring beam for measurably monitoring the superelevation of the adjacent track section.

The invention relates to a device for straightening a railway track, mainly in the areas of switches, and can be used in the construction and repair of the track.
The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of track alignment in the area of the switch.

A mobile vehicle for straightening the railway track in the plan and profile in the switch-over areas contains a self-propelled track-and-driving chassis consisting of a frame 2 supported on the undercarriage 1. associated with tamper grooves 5 and an additional tamping device 6, installed with the possibility of being moved by the drives in height and across the machine. On frame 2 cabins 7 are mounted with control units of machine drive 2, working cab 8 and power energy installation 9 for ensuring operation of all drives. A measuring device is also mounted on frame 2, consisting of trolleys 10c with rollers supported on the track, a basic reference system 11 connected to trolleys 10, zones B of the undercarriage, and interacting with the probe reference system 11 supported by measuring trolleys 12 with rollers for bearing on the extreme paths of the switch. Thus, the carriages 12 rest on the path across the entire width of the switch. The carts 12 are connected by a beam 13 placed across the machine and carrying the gauge 14 of the switch position in the transverse profile. On the frame 2, the instrumental frame 15 is mounted for movement in a vertical plane by hydraulic cylinders, carrying a lifting and leveling unit, which consists of at least one pair of wheels with flanges, one for each rail of the track moved by the drives in height and across the hook hook 16 and or roller grab and hydraulic cylinders of straightening of the track. According to FIG. 3, the gauge 14 of the switch position in the transverse profile consists of two electric potentiometers 30 and 31 levels. The sensor 30 is mounted on the beam 13, which is connected to the carriages 12 by the hinges 32 and 33.

Another measuring device including a measuring chord formed by a cable 39, also connected with a potentiometer, forms a device for determining the position of the track in the plane. The chord is thus a basic reference system. The beam 13 may be made of two parts connected by a hinge 40 and fixed in necessary cases by means of a detachable connection. By means of the hinge 40, the trolley 12, located on the side of the machine, can quickly rise up after the end of the measurement of one transverse zone of the switch and when the machine moves to its next zone. For this, this carriage 12 and the beam 13 are made of a light material, for example aluminum.
A monitoring and indicator device 41 is installed on the beam 13 for visually monitoring the position of the switch in the transverse profile. Drives 24 and 25 are controlled by a remote controller 42, for example, by radio. The sensors 30 and 31 are connected to the central control unit 43 located in the cabin 8. The actuators 44 move the grippers 16 in height and across the machine. The additional tamping unit 6 is intended for tamping long bars 45, which lie on the crossbar of the switch, i.e., the branch zones of the path lying next to the path on which the machine is located.
Truck 12, located on the side of the machine, is biaxial (Fig. 2 and 4). To precisely move this cart along the way, a spacer cylinder 46 is installed on it (Fig. 4), while the opera rollers 47 with a ridge are pressed against the rails of the track 48. According to FIG. 5, the machine also contains two carts 12, one of which is placed under the machine, and the other on the side. Trolleys 12 are connected by a transverse beam 13 carrying a gauge 14 by the switch to switch in a transverse profile. The gauges 14, 49 and 50 are connected to the control unit 43, and the gauge 14 - with a radio controlled control device 51.
The machine works as follows
The machine travels along the main path 52 in the direction of arrow B, this path 52 in a known manner is beefed up and straightened by the tamping unit 3 and the lifting and leveling unit. When the machine arrives in the switch-over area, the device 17 for lifting a lying track of the switch-over by the support roller 22 rests on one of the track rails, then gripping it with the rollers 21. The carts 12 raised upwards, which are located on the side of the machine, are lowered onto the path. The cylinder 46 accurately sets the support rollers 47 relative to the rails of the track 48, pressing the rollers 47 to these rails.
